he client, a 43 year old, went through a red light and received a summons to appear in court because her car was unregistered and uninsured when checked by Watertown Police. Attorney Topazio met with the Watertown Police Prosecutor in an attempt to resolve his client’s case. Today, Attorney Topazio was successful in getting the criminal charge against his client dismissed after a finding of responsible filed on the civil infraction of unregistered motor vehicle, thus preserving his client’s CORI.
